With Petportal, you can post pictures and stories about your pet, view your pet’s vaccination due dates, email the hospital, request appointments, and even request prescription refills!

In order to access Petportal, Reston Animal Hospital must have your email address on file. To give us your email address, please drop in or call us at 703-620-2566.

For our clients that don’t wish to use Petportal, don’t worry! We’ll still be sending out vaccination reminder postcards.

Did you know that just like humans, there is a blood shortage for dogs getting medical care? But you can help! The Eastern Veterinary Blood Bank is currently accepting blood donations from healthy dogs over 35 pounds and meeting a few other requirements. We make every effort to make our fees competitive with internet sources; unfortunately, as of 08/16/2006 we can no longer price match our products and prescriptions. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and thank you for your consideration.

Interested in competitive prices for your pet's prescriptions? Looking for the ease of online ordering and home delivery of prescriptions? Look no further: we have partnered with VetCentric to bring you the convenience and prices you are in search of.

How to get started:

If you are interested in ordering a prescription for your pet through VetCentric, please call us at 703-620-2566.

Once we confirm that your pet needs the requested prescription, we will notify VetCentric and provide them with your name, pet's information, phone number and pet's prescription.

An account with Vetcentric will automatically be created for you (unless you already had one).  You can either contact VetCentric toll free at 1-866-838-2368, or they will contact you via email or phone within 24-48 hours to let you know that the prescription is ready to order.  VetCentric can provide you with your username and password to login online at this website for any available refills.

Reston Animal Hospital also has a complete in-house pharmacy.
